But at what cost?
Pia Pounds, real name Tracy Kirabo, has since struggled to release another song just as big. She claims she is still on a relentless self-discovery journey and is positive another big hit will come her way.
The 27-year-old, while speaking to Sanyuka TV noted that she hasn’t stopped investing in her craft and working hard towards achieving her goals but asked her fans not to put a lot of pressure on her.

I am an artist who is still discovering herself. Sometimes you make a song so big that it scares you on what to do next but you just have to keep working hard and investing in your craft. It’s a matter of time before you make another banger.

Pia Pounds expressed her awareness of the rising levels of competition but maintained that such competition was around even before she started doing music and it is not something that scares her off.
She acknowledged her absence in the media but stated that it is something she is doing intentionally just to protect her brand and work on good music.

“No, I’m not absent (from the scene). It’s true I pulled out a bit, I try to stay away from the media but I have good music,” she said
Pia Pounds also rubbished claims of being an alcoholic as the reason why her music career seems to have lost direction.
“First of all, I don’t even drink alcohol. Those are pure lies and people spreading such rumors should find something else to do.”
